Sharon joined the firm in October 2007 and is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Sharon earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 1995 and an MBA from Bellevue University in 2003. In January 2007, she received her Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School where she received numerous scholastic awards, including Outstanding Achievement in Contracts and Torts, Moot Court awards, and Class Valedictorian.
In 1995, Sharon began a first career as an educator in Orange County Public Schools, Orlando, Florida where she taught secondary science and math and also held the position of Curriculum Resource Specialist. During her 12 years with Orange County Public Schools, Sharon received awards for teaching excellence, including National Board Certification and Teacher of the Year. In 2001, Sharon was selected to represent Orange County as a Teacher-on-Assignment at the Orlando Science Center, where she authored curriculum and exhibit literature and directed inquiry-based lab activities for student groups.
Sharon's areas of practice include U.S. patent preparation and prosecution, international and foreign patent prosecution, trademark registration, and related business matters. Sharon has represented clients in matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and contracts.
